Role: webMethods Integration Developer
Location: Sacramento, CA (Remote)
Duration: 6+ months
Pay Rate: $60 to $70
Overview: The Client is seeking an experienced webMethods Integration Developer to develop web service APIs and other integrations to support the implementation of various capital projects.
Responsibilities:
- Designing Integration Solutions – Analyze business requirements and design workflows for data and process integration between systems like ERP, CRM, databases, APIs, etc.
- Developing Integration Logic – Create integration components using webMethods Developer, Integration Server, Flow Services, Java Services, and Adapters (e.g., JDBC, SAP, Flat File, etc.).
- Working with Messaging & APIs – Use webMethods Broker, Universal Messaging, web services (SOAP/REST), and API Gateway to ensure secure and scalable communication between systems.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting – Use webMethods Administrator, MWS (My webMethods Server), and logging tools to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure uptime.
- Deployment and Version Control – Package and deploy solutions across environments (Dev, QA, Prod) using tools like Deployer and version control systems (Git, SVN).
- Documentation and Testing – Write technical documentation, perform unit/integration testing, and ensure compliance with security and data governance requirements.
Key Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of webMethods Integration Server (IS), Designer, and Broker/Universal Messaging
- Experience with Flow and Java Services
- Familiarity with web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON
- Understanding of adapters (JDBC, SAP, MQ, etc.)
- Experience with API Gateway, MWS, and Deployer
- Basic Java knowledge is often useful
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD processes is a plus)
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience developing on the webMethods integration platform.
- Experience working with the webMethods.IO SaaS platform.
Technical Requirements:
- Ability to develop at a senior level on the webMethods integration platform, including familiarity with related technologies, such as Integration Server, Universal Messaging,
- API Gateway, wM Test Suite, EDI/TN, Java Service Development, webMethods.IO
Desirable Qualifications: The contractor is expected to be onsite for initial 3-day orientation and onboarding at Sacramento, CA, office.
