Role: SharePoint Developer
Location: Remote (100%)
Duration: 6 months (through December 2026)
Pay Rate: $80 to $90
Overview: A contract SharePoint Developer role focused on migrating SharePoint 2016 content to SharePoint Online and OpenText Documentum D2, while rebuilding legacy SP 2013 workflows in Power Automate. Requires 5+ years of hands-on SharePoint migration and Power Automate experience, along with the ability to engage directly with business stakeholders. A senior-level role blending deep technical expertise with strong communication skills.
What You Will Do:
- Migrate SharePoint 2016 document libraries to SharePoint Online (M365) and OpenText Documentum D2
- Conduct business unit content review workshops and document disposition decisions in a Content Disposition Matrix
- Analyze, redesign, and rebuild SharePoint 2013 workflows in Microsoft Power Automate (cloud flows)
- Develop new Power Automate workflows as needed, including requirements gathering, testing, and knowledge transfer
- Own a migration validation program — reconciliation, metadata checks, permission verification, and post-migration sign-off
Mush Have Requirements:
- 5+ years with SharePoint Online and Power Automate development
- 5+ years delivering SharePoint migrations for enterprise/government orgs
- At least 3 completed on-premises SP migrations (2013/2016/2019) in the past 5 years
- Proven experience with SharePoint migration toolsets
- Track record of Power Automate workflow development and SP 2013 workflow migration
Nice to Have:
- Experience with FME Migration-Center tool
- OpenText Documentum D2 hands-on experience
- SharePoint Subscription Edition (SPSE) migration experience
- Advanced Power Automate: parallel processing, nested expressions, API calls
- SP 2016 permissions inheritance and migration strategies
