Role: ServiceNow Project Manager
Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid – as needed)
Duration: 6+ Months
Pay Rate: $60 to $65

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Program Lead to oversee the end-to-end implementation of ServiceNow across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading complex ServiceNow deployments, with a strong preference for experience in the utilities sector. This is a contract role requiring strategic leadership, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on program management expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of the ServiceNow implementation program, from planning and design through deployment and stabilization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, operations, and business units to define requirements, scope, and success criteria.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including ServiceNow partners and system integrators.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards.
  • Drive change management, training, and communication strategies to support adoption.
  • Monitor program performance, manage risks, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Provide regular updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management, with at least 3 years leading ServiceNow implementations.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and HRSD.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • PMP, ITIL, ServiceNow certifications.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience implementing ServiceNow in a utility or energy sector environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and operational requirements specific to utilities.
  • Knowledge of integration with legacy systems and data migration strategies.
