Role: Scrum Lead
Remote (PST)
Duration: 3 to 6+ months
Pay Rate: $60 to $65
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Lead to guide and coach Agile development teams in the successful implementation of the Scrum framework. The Scrum Lead will play a critical role in fostering a culture of collaboration, self-organization, and continuous improvement. This position involves providing leadership, removing impediments, and facilitating the execution of Agile principles and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrum Framework Leadership – Lead and coach Agile development teams on the Scrum framework, promoting Agile values and principles.
- Team Empowerment – Foster a self-organizing and high-performing team by promoting Agile best practices and collaboration.
- Continuous Improvement – Encourage the team to embrace a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication, understanding, and alignment on project goals and priorities.
- Metrics and Reporting – Monitor and report on team performance using Agile metrics like velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time.
- Quality Assurance – Ensure that the team follows quality standards and Agile best practices.
- Mentoring and Coaching – Mentor and guide Scrum team members and other Scrum Masters in Agile principles and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master with a track record of successful Scrum framework implementation.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills.
