Role: Salesforce Business Analyst/Administrator
Location: Remote (PST Time Zone)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Pay Rate: $60 to $65
Overview: We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Business Analyst and Administrator to join our client’s team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate holds active Salesforce certifications, brings solid hands-on admin experience, and thrives in an Agile delivery environment. This is a fully remote opportunity requiring availability during Pacific Standard Time business hours.
The Ideal candidate would bring:
- Strong Agile experience and a solid understanding of Agile delivery practices
- Strong BSA fundamentals and the ability to apply BSA best practices consistently
- Experience writing clear, actionable user stories in standard User Story format
- Comfort using INVEST principles to ensure stories are independent, negotiable, valuable, estimable, small, and testable
- Strong Jira experience, including creating, refining, updating, and managing stories through delivery
- Ability to write clear, measurable, and testable acceptance criteria
- Active Salesforce Business Analyst and Salesforce Admin certifications are required
- Strong Salesforce knowledge with the ability to understand business process, system impacts, configuration considerations, and downstream dependencies
- Proven ability to support complex, cross-functional Salesforce or enterprise technology initiatives
- Ability to understand the business outcome, connect it to the technical work, and ensure the final solution delivers the intended value
- Ability to lead or support Discovery by asking thoughtful questions, uncovering gaps, clarifying scope, and documenting clear requirements
- Ability to translate ambiguity into clear, delivery-ready requirements, stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
- Experience creating or supporting current state process flows, future state process flows, gap analysis, data mapping, and requirement documentation
- Strong attention to detail, especially with story quality, data impacts, translation considerations, process changes, and cross-system dependencies
- Strong requirements traceability mindset, ensuring business needs, stories, acceptance criteria, testing, and final delivery stay aligned
- Ability to identify risks, blockers, dependencies, gaps, and cross-system impacts early and communicate them proactively
- Ability to recognize when a request is not ready for delivery and clearly define what is needed to make it ready
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work through ambiguity and move work forward without needing excessive direction
- Strong organization skills and the ability to manage details, priorities, timelines, and follow-through effectively
- Good judgment, common sense, and the ability to balance speed with quality
- Comfortable operating in a high-standard environment with urgency, accountability, direct feedback, and a strong bias for action
- Ability to move quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and stay focused in a fast-moving environment
