Role: Information Systems Analyst
Location: San Leandro, CA

Pay Rate: $65 to $70
Overview: The client is seeking a highly skilled Information Systems Analyst (ISA) Contractor with extensive experience in application development, reporting, data processing, and process automation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies and a proven ability to develop, maintain and enhance enterprise applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain multiple Health solutions in .NET for bulk data management and implement Table Types for high-volume data injections to reduce network latency.
- Redesign data workflows using high-performance Stored Procedures and User-Defined Functions (UDFs), resulting in a 25% reduction in report generation time.
- Utilize SSRS and Power BI services to develop operational and analytical reports, translating complex stakeholder requirements into actionable datasets for daily departmental usage and trend prediction.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Visual Studio C# development, including:
- Web-based application development (ASP.NET/ASP.NET MVC/ASP.NET Core)
- Windows-based application development (WinForms and/or WPF)
- Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), including report development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Power BI for developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- GitHub, including source control management, branching, merging, and collaboration workflows.
- Automation applications and services that automatically monitor designated folders, retrieve incoming files, validate data, process files, and execute scheduled tasks without manual intervention.

- Experience creating applications or Windows Services that can automatically pick up files from local directories, SFTP servers, or network locations and execute the required processing workflows.
