Role: Health Services Administrator
Location: Martinez, CA (5 days onsite)
Duration: 6+ months
Pay Rate: $45 to $50

Overview: The Health Services Administrator provides administrative oversight and operational support for an established Health Services division. This role focuses on maintaining existing workflows, ensuring continuity of operations, monitoring budgets and procurement activities, and providing regular status reporting to leadership.

Manager’s Expectations:

  • Government team management experience
  • Mid- to senior-level project coordination experience
  • Experience working with County agencies preferred

Typical Duties:

  • Plan, coordinate, and maintain the day-to-day administrative operations of an existing Health Services division or program.
  • Oversee the administration and monitoring of the division’s approved annual budget, including review and approval of expenditure exceptions within established guidelines.
  • Manage and monitor procurement activities, contracts, and controls for equipment and services, ensuring alignment with existing policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular reports to the leadership team on the status and overall health of procurement projects, including analysis to identify risks, delays, and items requiring escalation based on organizational priorities.
  • Work with administrative and program staff, including routine personnel activities and staff coordination.
  • Ensure continued compliance with established accrediting, regulatory, and oversight agency requirements.
  • Monitor existing administrative policies and procedures to ensure they are followed consistently.
  • Coordinate and track assigned projects to completion, ensuring timelines and deliverables align with existing expectations.
  • Participate in committees and serve as a liaison to advisory boards and stakeholder groups, as needed.
  • Support collaboration and communication across teams to maintain operational effectiveness.

Education Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)
