Role: Cisco ISE Consultant

Overview: The Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) Consultant to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Cisco ISE solutions in enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Cisco ISE solutions to meet security and compliance requirements.
- Configure and troubleshoot 802.1X, MAB, guest access, BYOD, profiling, posture assessment, and TACACS+.
- Integrate ISE with Active Directory, PKI, Firewalls, and other enterprise tools.
- Develop and execute migration plans from legacy NAC solutions to Cisco ISE.
- Provide knowledge transfer and technical documentation for stakeholders.
- Perform health checks, audits, and optimization of existing ISE deployments.
- Collaborate with network/security teams and project stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience working with Cisco ISE (version 2.x and above preferred).
- Strong knowledge of network security, RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X, EAP, and VLAN
- Experience with Cisco switches, routers, and wireless infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with endpoint profiling, posture, and device compliance.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex ISE issues using logs and debugs.
- Solid understanding of identity and access control principles.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security or CCIE Security is a plus.
- Experience with automation/scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a bonus.
- Prior consulting or MSP experience is highly desirable.
