Role: Automation Engineer – ServiceNow ATF
Location: Remote (Must work PST hours)
Duration: 6+ Months
Pay Rate: $60 to $70
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on expertise in ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework). This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test cases to support ServiceNow platform testing, improve QA efficiency, and ensure high-quality service delivery. The role requires collaboration across development, QA, and platform support teams and adherence to agile processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain ServiceNow ATF test suites for various modules and custom applications.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into automated test scenarios.
- Drive improvements in test coverage, execution reliability, and test maintenance efficiency.
- Ensure proper documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Assist in the integration of ATF with CI/CD tools for continuous testing.
- Support regression testing, functional validation, and defect triage activities.
- Participate in daily standups and agile ceremonies aligned with PST working hours.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience working with ServiceNow ATF in an enterprise environment.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, and the ServiceNow platform architecture.
- Strong understanding of test automation practices, QA methodologies, and test lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with key ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, or CSM.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
