Role: Application Developer
Location: San Jose, CA (Remote)
Duration: 6+ months
Pay Rate: $65 to $70
Summary: Design, develop, and maintain full stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and React.
Must Have: Java, Spring Boot/Spring MVC, React/JavaScript, Oracle/PLSQL, REST APIs/Microservices, Docker/CI-CD
Typical Deliverables:
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and React.
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable system integrations.
- Deploy and manage applications on Apache Tomcat and cloud environments.
- Build containerized applications using Docker and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub.
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, and database queries in Oracle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps.
- Write automation and scripting solutions for building, deploying, and operational tasks.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- 5+ years of Java development experience.
- Backend: Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate
- Frontend: React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Database: Oracle, PL/SQL
- Application Server: Apache Tomcat
- Integration: REST APIs, JSON, Web Services
- DevOps: Docker, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP
- Scripting: Shell scripting/Python/automation scripting
- AI: Claude or similar AI Tools.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Experience with performance tuning and scalable architecture
