Role: Quality Assurance Tester

Pay Rate: $55 to $65
Overview: This is a specialized Quality Assurance (QA) Tester role. The primary focus is the development and implementation of a new Anaplan-based budget system, which is critical for the Client’s financial planning and reporting.
Role Summary:
- Project Context: Implementation of a new budget system on the Anaplan
- The Mission: Validate system functionality throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and usability for financial data.
- Timeline: Onboarding starts in June 2026, with testing beginning in July 2026.
- Engagement Duration: Testing is anticipated to last 3 months, with a 6-month contract term to allow for schedule flexibility.
- Candidate Profile: A detail-oriented tester with at least 6 years of experience and strong fundamentals in financial or data-driven application validation.
Non-Negotiable “Must-Have” Skills:
- Core QA Expertise: Minimum of 6 years of experience providing similar QA services within the last 10 years.
- Testing Methodologies: In-depth knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Technical Tools: Proficiency with Jira for defect management and Postman for API (REST) testing.
- Data Validation: Hands-on experience with SQL or SOQL queries to verify data integrity during migration and routine operations.
- Reporting: Proven experience defining and reporting QA metrics for specific releases.
