Role: Scrum Lead (Project Management)
Location: Remote (PST)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Pay Rate: $60 to $70
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Lead to guide and coach Agile development teams in successfully implementing the Scrum framework. This role is critical in fostering a culture of collaboration, self-organization, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is highly data-driven and numbers-focused, with the ability to interpret metrics and translate them into meaningful business insights and compelling narratives for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Scrum Framework Leadership
- Lead and coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, values, and best practices
- Ensure effective adoption and execution of the Scrum framework
Team Empowerment
- Foster a self-organizing, accountable, and high-performing team environment
- Encourage collaboration, ownership, and Agile maturity
Continuous Improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through retrospectives and feedback loops
- Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities and deliverables
- Facilitate clear communication across teams and leadership
Metrics, Data & Storytelling
- Track and analyze Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown, cycle time, and team performance
- Translate data into actionable insights and articulate a clear story behind the numbers to stakeholders
- Use data to drive decision-making and improve delivery outcomes
Impediment Removal
- Identify and remove blockers impacting team productivity and delivery timelines
Quality Assurance
- Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and quality standards
Mentoring and Coaching
- Mentor team members, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders on Agile methodologies
- Promote a culture of learning and Agile excellence
Qualifications:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master/Scrum Lead with successful Agile implementations
- Strong experience working in data-driven Agile environments
- Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively
