Role: Information Systems Specialist II

Summary: This role supports a large-scale endpoint modernization effort involving device replacement, provisioning, and retirement activities. The specialist will execute hands-on deployment tasks, ensure accurate asset reconciliation, and assist with structured rollout coordination across multiple locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute workstation imaging, configuration, and provisioning of new endpoint devices using enterprise management tools (Tanium preferred).
- Perform physical deployment of desktops, laptops, and related peripherals as part of a hardware refresh initiative.
- Conduct End-of-Life (EOL) device replacement, including secure decommissioning, collection, and disposition.
- Maintain and reconcile asset records, ensuring inventory accuracy and lifecycle traceability.
- Support environment cleanup activities including asset validation, surplus identification, and removal of legacy equipment.
- Track deployment progress, task completion, and logistics coordination using Monday.com or similar workflow tools.
- Provide basic troubleshooting during rollout to ensure devices are fully operational for end users.
- Assist with staging, packaging, and transport of equipment between designated facilities.
- Document deployment outcomes, asset updates, and configuration status in accordance with IT standards.
- Work collaboratively with infrastructure and operations teams to meet rollout timelines across approximately 250+ devices.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of hands-on IT support or deployment experience (targeting junior to mid-level professionals).
- Practical experience with device imaging, provisioning, and workstation setup in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with endpoint management platforms (Tanium strongly preferred or similar tools such as SCCM or Intune).
- Experience supporting hardware refresh, migration, or lifecycle replacement initiatives.
- Knowledge of IT asset inventory practices and reconciliation processes.
- Ability to handle physical equipment installation, relocation, and removal.
- Local travel between sites required (Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle mandatory).
- Comfortable working fully onsite in a deployment-focused role.
- Strong organizational skills to track deployments and maintain accurate records.
- Basic troubleshooting capability across Windows endpoints, peripherals, and standard software installs.
