Role: Workforce Policy & Employee Relations Analyst
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ Months (possible extension up to 24 months)
Pay Rate: $35 to $40

Summary: We are seeking experienced Workforce Policy & Employee Relations Analysts to support an operational expansion initiative driven by recent staffing vacancies. This role focuses on interpreting and applying standard, well-documented HR policies, supporting employee relations activities, and producing high-quality written analyses and documentation. The position is suited for professionals who can work independently in a fast-paced environment, apply strong analytical judgment, and engage stakeholders with empathy and professionalism. While exposure to ER case management systems is helpful, deep technical proficiency is not required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and apply standard HR policies to employees and organizational scenarios
  • Analyze policy language and identify implications, risks, and recommended actions
  • Produce clear, concise, and well-structured written documentation and summaries
  • Support Employee Relations activities, including case review and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Operate independently, managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Apply high emotional intelligence and sound judgment when addressing sensitive matters

Tools & Systems:

  • Employee Relations case tracking may involve a mix of Salesforce, ServiceNow, and homegrown systems

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong writing and documentation capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience in HR policy interpretation and application
  • Strong analytical skills, including connecting policy language to real-world implications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Employee Relations case management
  • Background in HR operations, workforce policy, or employee relations advisory roles
